Job Purpose

HR Business Partner: We’re looking for a commercially focused HR Business Partner to support our leaders in the implementation of their people agenda, in devising plans for HR business solutions that meet their needs and to coordinate people processes.   You’ll be responsible for managing an HR Advisor and leading on delivering operational day to day requirements including employee relations and employee retention activity.

 

Reporting into the HR Operations Manager, you’ll be part of a team of HR Business Partners based across multiple Ageas UK sites. As well as partnering your dedicated account area, you’ll also work with other members of HR to implement UK-wide projects. As such, travel to other Ageas locations will be required in this role.

 

Your success as an HR Business Partner means you will have;

  • Worked in an HR generalist or Business Partner role with detailed knowledge of organisation design & development, talent & succession planning, employee relations; reward management; performance management; employee engagement and recruitment and retention activities.
  • A CIPD qualification at Graduate level with a proven track record of delivering change in a multi divisional, matrix driven organisation.
  • Detailed knowledge of UK and European legislation.
  • Experience of pro-actively engaging and working in partnership with multiple stakeholders to translate their business needs into a clear HR commercial agenda, advising on the wider HR implications, providing solutions and devising plans that deliver their change.
  • Working with the business to forecast and plan future HR requirements and liaise with appropriate HRD functions to ensure HR delivery meets the required service levels, standards and priorities.
  • Clear commercial capability in evaluating, critiquing and challenging business proposals in a constructive manner.
  • Ability to influence and persuade line management to encourage best practice.
  • Objectively assesses the performance of others, assessing capabilities and potential; driving talent and development, succession plans and permanence management.
  • Highly developed listening, communication, presentation and influencing skills with the ability to process and present both strategic and tactical information to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability in Project and Change Management.
  • IT literate with broad knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and the Internet.
