Job Purpose

SEO Digital Analyst: Ageas has recently launched a new brand and website to market and with number of large projects that focus on delivering new capability and platforms, we’re seeking a commercially focussed SEO Digital Analyst with expert SEO experience to join the team at our offices in Bournemouth.  A key focus of the SEO Digital Analyst role is about generating traffic and revenue across the Ageas Retail estate, analysing the website performance including implementing and measuring multi-variant testing, conversion rate optimisation, organic search campaign development, search engine optimization, website and on-page optimization, re-targeting campaigns, performance analysis and reporting.  You’ll be engaging and working in partnership with stakeholders, external partners and in-house teams to enhance the digital estate and transform insightful data into valuable insights that ultimately increase revenue.


Here are some of the SEO Digital Analyst responsibilities:

  • Manage the digital analytics tag implementation, testing & reporting of online media, landing pages, websites, conversion funnels and other marketing activities.
  • Mining and interpreting data reports to provide analysis on various online marketing efforts, including website traffic and campaign analysis.
  • Design automated data and analytics solutions to deliver meaningful product insights and prepare analytical reports on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis.
  • Analyse organic traffic for new opportunities and create recommendations for new organic SEO initiatives.
  • Develop and drive an ethical / white-hat SEO strategy and evaluate web campaign strategies.
  • Analyse acquisition data and meet with the Ecommerce team to discuss opportunities and strategies for increasing customer engagement, revenue and traffic KPIs.
  • Cultivating relationships with digital media partners and presenting opportunities to establish new relationships.


Key to your success in the SEO Digital Analyst opportunity will be your experience in:

  • A wealth of experience in Google Analytics, 360, Google Tag Manager and e-commerce tracking.
  • Experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Search (PPC).
  • Mastery of technical-SEO fundamentals such as page titles, Meta tags, headers, URL structure, link anchor text, site crawl issues, structured metadata.
  • Solid understanding of online marketing techniques, social media, email marketing, and new technology.
  • A degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Computer Science, Statistics or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in using data to identify issues and create clear actions to improve website performance and KPIs.
  • Ad setup, management and reporting at all phases of the campaign.
  • Social Media content creation, curation and evaluation.
  • Experience in broadcast email marketing. Email and web copywriting experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Application Suite and basic HTML knowledge required. SQL and web programming languages a plus.
