IT Support Technician: As an IT Support Technician you will be supporting all 2nd line IT Operations support covering all the Ageas locations. As an IT Support Techniciam you will ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core business services. You will apply communication, analytical and problem solving skills to play an active part in the IT Support Team in identifying, communicating and resolving issues in order to maximise the benefit of the IT systems whilst demonstrating a clear focus for the Customer, Innovation, efficiency and consistency and advocacy. The ideal candidate will have a previous technology based background and a good business knowledge.

One of the key focuses in this role is the end user, our Customer and their journey is vital to Ageas’ success therefore the ideal candidate will need to have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. In addition they would need to have a problem solving approach with proven analytical abilities, be self-motivated with a keen attention to detail and able to work in a high-pressurised environment.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience with system deployments, security principles and general software and hardware management best practices with extensive experience and knowledge with core software applications, including Active directory, Windows desktop operating system, system monitoring and TCP/IP (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SMTP, Telnet, ICMP etc)
