  • Job Purpose

    Commercial Claims Operations Leader: The prime responsibility of this Commercial Claims Operations Leader opportunity is to drive operational efficiency and motivate your staff to provide a quality service to our customers whilst controlling claims costs and managing expense budgets. You’ll be leading and involved in projects that achieve system enhancements or the design, development and implementation of new practices and procedures to drive continuous improvement. The nature of this opportunity means you need to establish good working relationships with staff, brokers, suppliers, senior leaders, across teams and with other functions to achieve success. You will be required to analyse and interpret MI to understand performance and areas to focus on to drive improvement.


    To be successful in this Commercial Claims Operations Leader opportunity you’ll need to demonstrate;

    • Previous experience of operating in a multi-sited, insurance claims business along with expert knowledge and understanding the commercial claims arena and markets.
    • Extensive experience of working in partnership with and maintaining broker relationships.
    • Significant experience of performance metrics, cost reduction and claim efficiency methodologies.
    • Demonstrable experience of contributing to the planning and delivery of a Claims Operating Plan.
    • Proven Leadership and team management experience. Including supporting the performance management of teams, engaging and developing team leaders to deliver the right customer and people outcomes.
    • Experience of identifying training needs and employing the right people who perform to deliver the highest customer care and broker claims to industry quality and standards.
    • Resilient and flexible with the ability to react rapidly to challenging business requirements and to lead and support teams in a technical and challenging change environment.
