    Household Technical Pricing Manager: Ageas are in the process of delivering wholesale improvements to our pricing sophistication, performance management capability and technical excellence. In order to successfully compete in the Household Insurance market, we’re recruiting for a commercially and technically focused Household Technical Pricing Manager who will be at the forefront in delivering this strategy.


    As our expert Technical Pricing Manager, your task in delivering the strategy is to ensure that Ageas outperforms the market by having the best pricing models. Using the WTW suite of pricing tools, you’ll have autonomy to innovate, develop and improve pricing models, pricing management information and manage the evaluation of new schemes and product propositions. In addition, you’ll make recommendations on how to optimise pricing that generates business and profitable growth. To be successful in this Technical Pricing Manager role, you’ll need a background in personal lines insurance pricing and be recognised as an enabler of change, deliver business results and demonstrate technical prowess, innovation and efficiency. This opportunity has immediate line management responsibility.


    Here’s the experience you need to be successfully considered for our Technical Pricing Manager;

    1. You have a background in personal lines insurance pricing and expertise in understanding pricing and underwriting principles.
    2. You have a wealth of GLM software knowledge - Towers Watson (Emblem, Radar) and SAS.
    3. You’ve led, optimised growth and delivered improved performance of portfolios, including key accounts through analysis of the historic performance, profiles, mix trends, rating factors and new business acquisitions.
    4. Have experience of managing price positioning and competitor analysis in order to effectively and confidently recommend changes to optimise competitive positioning and contribution per policy.
    5. You make decisions about the production and maintenance of pricing models and you also evaluate and identify the profitability and price position of new schemes and product propositions.
    6. You’re smart when it comes to sophisticated analytics, statistical trends and making commercial decisions that inform business growth.
    7. You’re able to engage your stakeholders and colleagues to achieve desired outcomes.
    8. Ideally you’ll have managed a pricing team. However if you’re an experienced Senior Pricing Analyst - you tick the above – and you’re looking to make a step up, then we’d love to hear from you.
    9. Have good commercial awareness and knowledge of how the personal lines broker market works.
