Claims Handler: Our Claims Handlers are the face and, more importantly, the voice of our business when it comes to dealing with our customers. We are looking for energised and passionate Claims Handlers to join our First Notification of Loss team in Gloucester. At Ageas, we are focused on providing second to none customer service delivering the most appropriate solutions to make things easier, not harder, for our customers when they’re already having a stressful time. Our claims handlers are curious and skilful; they listen carefully to our customers, finding out what’s important to them throughout their claim so the solutions we provide will fit their individual needs.
As well as the customer, our claims handlers are confident and adaptable in communicating with Ageas’ network of suppliers and relevant third parties, to provide a high quality claims service in an industry that is an ever changing environment. Our claims handlers are accountable and decisive, making decisions on liability; whilst making sure we comply with all regulatory and internal controls. They use their initiative to manage a caseload, using their training and resilience to ensure claims are settled effectively, saving costs where possible, whilst maintaining Ageas’ high level of customer service.

Operational hours for department: Monday – Sunday 7am-11pm.
Shift pattern provided at least 4 weeks in advance, weekend working required every other weekend.
37.5 hour working week full time. Part time applications will be considered.
