Claims Handler - House Insurance: We are looking for Claims Handlers to join our household claims team in Port Solent. We always look for ways to help our customers when they make a claim; delivering the most appropriate solutions to make things easier, not harder, when they’re already having a stressful time. This makes working in our claims team a more satisfying and rewarding experience. As a Claims Handler you’ll listen carefully to our customers, finding out what’s important to them throughout their claim so the solutions we provide will fit their individual needs. This role will involve some weekend work.
As well as the customer, you’ll talk to Ageas’ network of suppliers and relevant third parties to provide a high quality claims service that’s continuously improving. You’ll decide on liability; making sure we comply with all regulatory and internal controls. You’ll have the freedom and support to make decisions on a wide variety of Household Claims ranging from the relatively small and simple to the larger, more complex situations (up to £10,000 in value). Our emphasis on quality means that from the moment a customer calls to make a claim you will be giving them all the time, care and attention needed at the time they need it most, whilst demonstrating excellent cost control skills.
