    Senior Automation Developer: A fantastic, rare opportunity has arisen at Ageas Insurance in Bournemouth for a Senior Automation Developer to lead the implementation of AI technologies and champion the growth of capabilities, while supporting the development of process automation.


    It’s a very exciting time for Ageas as we have just launched our Direct Insurance brand and the successful Senior Automation Developer will combine their C#, Microsoft.NET skills with their extensive knowledge of the art of the possible to deliver market leading propositions and ensure that development is completed to the highest standard and delivered as effectively as possible.


    Main responsibilities as a Senior Automation Developer:

    • Development of automation activity and processes to a high quality standard based on identified business priorities and requirements.
    • Providing support and advice to the Automation Development Lead and wider Process Automation team around the capabilities of automation tools and potential areas of improvement.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the Business during development of automation activity.
    • Work effectively with stakeholders across all business areas, communicating effectively to stakeholders at all levels and providing a good service/customer experience to internal and external customers.
    • Attain ‘centre of excellence’ capability within the team for the tools utilised and be perceived as an expert in these.

    To be successful role in  Senior Automation Developer position you will need:

    • Experience as a Senior Developer supporting teams and management.
    • Experience and high level of competence in programming and configuring IT systems.
    • Practical hands-on experience in Microsoft.NET framework using C#.
    • Previous experience using Microsoft SQL Server. Including SSIS and SSRS.
    • Specialist knowledge - expert understanding of the capabilities of Intelligent Automation and experience in deploying automated solutions that apply Artificial Intelligence and other related technologies (Machine/Deep learning, Cognitive Automation etc.).
    • Experience working with Automation Tools such as Blue Prism or Ranorex.
